The Thanjavur Medical Journal (TMJ) is owned by the Thanjavur Medical College Alumni Association (TMCAA) Trust Board. The Thanjavur Medical Journal is published by the TMC Alumni (ALM) Publications Trust. The ALM Publication Trust has applied for seed funding to the Trust Board of the TMC Alumni Associaton.
Return to the infographicThe TMJ intends to collect a small token fee from authors to cover Peer Reviewer costs exclusively. Total fees thus collected will not exceed 1% of the forecasted budget, which is mainly met by seed funding as an unsecured interest free loan.

The issue of reluctance to publish in a non-indexed journal would apply in the initial days. Alternatively, the Journal gets indexed only if we have quality publications. Also, quality manuscripts will come in only if the journal is indexed.
