Wayanad IHCI 2020 Annual Review

Treatment outcome analysis of a total of 22,897 patients who had been registered since the start of the program till the last day of the year 2020 are presented for the 2020 Annual Review as a donut-chart-in-chart.

The keys for the Treatment Analysis are:

Controlled (C) – Number of Hypertensive patients with BP less than 140/90 at their most recent visit in Q1 2021
Not Controlled (NC) - Number of Hypertensive patients with BP greater than or equal to 140/90 at their most recent visit in Q1 2021
Missed Visits (MV) - Number of Hypertensive patients with No visits in Q1 2021
Lost to Follow Up (LTFU) - Number of Hypertensive patients who had not visited the facility for an year or more.

The Q4 2020 Quarterly Review

This pertains to the the Treatment outcome measured in Q1 2021 for all patients registered in Q4 2020. A total of 510 patients were registered between 1 Oct 2020 to 31 Dec 2020.

The Stacked bar graph compares the Q4 2020 with Monthly Reviews. The data for the Monthly Reviews are from Supportive Supervision wherein also an average of 400 treatment cards are reviewed.

Way Forward:

Due to resurgence of COVID-19 in May and June of 2021, and consequent lockdowns, Supportive Supervison visits were not done in these months. However, the trend of increasing control rate is a good sign, and with increase of footfalls in the facilities in future, better control rates are expected.
